Dokdo Museum
DSP (Dokdo Security Police ) lives and guards in Dokdo, Korea. Youngwoo stayed and photographed their daily life from July 10 to July 17, 2021. It was honorable and memorable project in Youngwoo's portfolio as Korean because locals are not allowed to stay in island more than 30 minutes. This documentary photography will be published in Dokdo Museum, Korea.
Shamanism Documentary
Good [gut] is traditional shamanism, and many of Korean believes Good will kick out evil sprits and bring good luck. Byul-Dang Sunnyu is a shaman, called Moodang [mu:dang]. She invited Youngwoo filming her biggest practice how she accepts God and ancestor, so she can build up her power and ability of fortune telling and prophecies. The Climax of this practice is when God entered the body, she stood on a sword edge. Youngwoo filmed the beginning to the ending of her practice in July 2018.
